The crew at Triax is constantly working to bring you amazing adventure and event productions. In this day and age, action sports productions are finally ditching their "home video" qualities as more and more independent production companies continue to raise the bar. Triax Productions strives to maintain the raising of that bar both in the sports that fuel their passions like BASE jumping and skydiving, and in the capturing of the ignition of that fuel on film.

Our criteria is pretty simple--keep a high standard of quality and professionalism, get the shot, and have fun doing it. These ideals are what is helping to make each of our new productions better than the last.

Our goal isn't to be the best, we weren't the first, and we most certainly won't be the last. Our goal is simply to inspire you. We challenge all the aspiring filmmakers to get up off the couch, grab your camera and show the world what you see. Tell the stories that fuel your passions, and at the same time, make the telling of those stories one of those passions.

Keep it CORE!

2/13/06: EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED! MATT NEEDS YOUR HELP! image not available

On February 6th, 2006, our friend and fellow jumper Matt Hecker was very seriously injured in a Paragliding accident. He remains in serious condition in the SICU ward of Denver Health.

Today is one week after the accident, and Matt is showing small signs of improvement--he has recently momentarily opened his eyes and began recognizing his family and close friends. His injuries go far beyond broken bones, and his recovery will be long, intense, and painful both physically as well as psychologically.

As many of us know, even with insurance, even a minor health issue can be financially devastating to the rest of your life. The primary cause being the inability to work. This doesn't only affect Matt. His mother and father are always by his side, sacrificing whatever need be to be with their son when he needs them most.

Matt and his family need your support. Please donate what you can afford by using the button below. If you can't afford to give financial support, visitors are usually a great spirit lifter. If you can't visit, you can click here to send Hecker a get well email, or send a card by snail mail from you and your crew.

Having a spirit like Matt's taken from us would be a tragedy for all of us. Help make sure his recovery is as quick and as complete as possible.

3/2/06: UPDATE ON HECKER!

as reported by Nic and Alex:

Matt has been moved to Craig Hospital in Englewood, CO for his rehab. His head injuries affect the frontal lobe, both temporal lobes, and the right hemisphere of the occipital lobe. Other than his head trauma, his reported injuries are a tib/fib fracture to his right leg in addition to shattering off pieces of the talus bone of his right ankle when the tibia slammed into it. He also fractured his calcaneus (heel) bone of his left foot. His surgery on his left heel last week was a success, and he is expected in surgery for his right leg and ankle on Tuesday. His recovery is/will be very painful, and is expected to keep him in the hospital until "at least early May."

Hecker had been doing three hours a day of physical, ocuupational and speech therapies before the surgery, and is likely to begin his PT again soon. He's definitely come out of his post traumatic amnesia and is able to remember things a ton better than he was doing. For example, the nurse came in and he was able to tell her where he was and even the date.

Visitors are still being discouraged for now to prevent a relapse of what they've accomplished so far. Hopefully within about a week or two after the next surgery people can come back by to see him!

All the encouragement he has received to this point has been fantastic. Please keep it coming and let Matt and his family know that you got their back.

Thanks, Triax Productions

11/22/05: TRIAX PRODUCTIONS INTRODUCES "THE LUMBERJACK CLUB!"

Triax Productions is in the beginning stages of starting a club expressly for those of us who have landed our canopies in trees, called "The Lumberjack Club."

Our first honorary member, (TLC #1) Jeremy "Redeye" Divan, was given this honor for showing a true commitment to his tree landings, always being able to find the tree no-one else could even see.

It is this kind of commitment that makes a true Lumberjack, and the crew at Triax extend a warm invitation to all jumpers to celebrate your tree landings with us. If you know someone who needs to get their TLC number, let them know about it.

See the dedicated section to soon-to-be TLC members in the Bridge Day 2005 DVD.
